Q. What is sleep apnea and how many type of sleep apnea is?

Ans.

Sleep apnea is serious sleep disorder in which breathing repeatedly stops and starts. Which mean that brain and the rest of body is not getting enough oxygen. Sleep apnea affects more than 3 men in 10 and more than 2 women in 10.

Types of sleep apnea

There are three types of sleep apnea

  1. Obstructive sleep apnea
  2. Obstructive sleep apnea
  3. Mixed sleep apnea

Q. How to stop snoring?

Ans.

Snoring happens when you can’t move air freely through your nose and throat during sleep. People who snore often have much throat and nasal ‘tissue’

Ans.

Anosmia is inability to smell. It is not a disease itself, it is a merely a clinical sign. Anosmia can be seen in older folk in which the sense of smell gradually deteriorates. Anosmia caused by swelling or blockage in the nose.

Q. What is tonsillitis causes and symptoms

Ans.

Tonsillitis are situated at the back of the throat. They are collection of lymphoid tissue that form part of the immune system. Tonsillitis can be caused by the bacteria or viral infection

The most common symptoms of tonsillitis are

Q. What is tinnitus and its treatment?

Ans.

Tinnitus happen when a person consciously hear a sound that does not come from any source outside the body a sound. A person with tinnitus hear “ringing in the ears” they also hear hissing, clicking and whistling sound. “Tinnitus” can be temporary and persistent.

Tinnitus treatment

Use hearing aid if hearing is impaired. Use of tinnitus masker which mask the tinnitus with “white noise” In some case, tinnitus goes away without any treatment.

Continuous positive airway pressure therapy is a common obstructive sleep apnea. A CPAP machine use hose and mask to deliver constant and steady air pressure.

CPAP mask are adjustable. Common problem using of CPAP machine is leaky mask, trouble falling asleep, stuffy nose and a dry mouth.
